To enable a Web service using the Progress Explorer:

- Select a Web service, such as OrderInfo under the Web services folder, and right-click it. When a shortcut menu appears, choose Enable, as shown:

You can also choose the Enable button, or choose Action
Enable from the menu.
An information box appears confirming that you have enabled the Web service for client access. If the Web service was previously disabled, this also decrements the number of Web services disabled statistic for the parent WSA instance.
Note: The WSA must have the Enable Web Services box checked before it accepts client requests for the enabled Web service. To check the Enable Web Service box for a local WSA instance, use Progress Explorer. For a remote WSA instance, set the underlyingwebAppEnabledproperty by hand editing theubroker.propertiesfile. For more information, see Chapter 5, “Working With the Web Services Adapter.”
